Aquamarine peaksA lovely sea blue crystal has reached the end of its long and turbulent geological journey in this unusual habit, resembling a pencil tip or a pair of mountains. It was mined in the Brazillian pegmatite fields of Espiritu Santo. These crystals are quite rare, and the large size of the specimen (7 x 6 x 5 cm), alongside its near perfect colour and gemmy clarity makes it quite exceptional.LozImage credit: Joe Budd/Rob Lavinsky/iRocks.com
